Insurance Tips For People Arriving Canada

  • Post author:

Hi,

I am Dean Mukesh from Maximize Success Academy.

Today we will discuss an important topic – “Insurance Tips For People Arriving In Canada.”

As you all know, making money for courses and survival in Canada is a challenge that your child might forget. But being a parent, you have a responsibility to remind your children about such things.

For Example:

Let’s say it is February and your child is in the fourth semester. By the end of April 30, his semester will be over. Guess what? In most colleges, the medical coverage gets finished on the same day.

It might take four weeks to get their marks for a work permit (applying for a job in Canada), which will take at least three months to get in their hands. Now, after COVID-19, it took people six months even to get their permit.

Now, a lot of students say, When will they get the job and medical coverage?

Hold on a minute; they get coverage for the medicines, dental benefits, hospital checkups, and doctor checkups. So, whatever insurance company you are dealing with right now, you can call and ask them about your coverage till you get the OHIP card.

When Do You Get The OHIP Card?

Rules keep on changing from time to time. But at present, the rule is that, once you do a full-time job for six months, you will get a letter from the employer, which you can take to the Ministry of Health and Service. After a YES from them, you are eligible to apply.

It is vital to be insured and must study the coverage part in insurance before buying.

It is one of the most important topics that I want to discuss with you.

The second topic I want to discuss with you is your LIFE INSURANCE. There is insurance which is known as LIFE INSURANCE.

Take a term policy for $100,000 or $50,000, which is good enough with a small monthly installment.

More coverage is essential for families in case something happens. If it is not there, it will require a significant expense for family members.

With this discussion, you can send us your valuable comments. We will do our best to answer your queries because my main aim is to help your family.

I have a lot of experience in Canada, that is why I encourage everyone to have a conversation with me.

I encourage everyone to go beyond their mindset because it doesn’t matter from which Indian state you are in Canada. Here we all are Indians and we are here to make our nation of our birth, feel proud and make our living country Canada the best we can.
