Delhi is a busy megapolitan where the normal show is of bussy-ness and action. But the current situation compels people to stay in isolation. It may be a big question for a Delhite or a citizen of any cosmopolitan/megalopolitan city to spend the time in isolation with productivity. We elaborate on the “how-to”  here.

Under the current situation, you have to let loose your blues and keep hope that this phase will pass soon. Make an interim routine for productivity enrichment for the few days that you are locked in.

  1. Start your days with a morning meditation to increase productivity

Ideally, you should follow the regime later on also. Just plug in the cell phone and listen to the morning meditation music or affirmation quotes and make the start of the day with a positive note. Get seated in a quiet corner and get relaxed.

Maybe you have thought of starting your daily health regime but could not make time till now. This is the time to kick-start it. If there is space on the roof-top or courtyard, you can practice a few rounds of walks as a daily routine and maintain it. But make sure to keep away from gatherings or groups.

  1. Practice yoga or exercise

Those practicing yoga or having the walkers at home need to maintain their daily routine as usual. If you are on the yoga regime, try Surya Namaskar and the other different poses that give you complete nourishment for the mind, body, and soul. Yoga is a wonderful way to increase productivity.

  1. Spend time with your near ones

If you have not got your office work to do from home, utilize the time spending it with your family and your kids. There are many ways to do it. Perhaps you have a carom board at home that did not peep in your mind of late, or a ludo or chessboard. Play these indoor games with your family members. Seek out to enjoy yourself with the teens and kids in your family. You will feel rejuvenated.

  1. Indulge in learning paper-art or sketch

Is there a computer at home? Then you can take to explore a host of things. Take time to find out some good paper-art and learn it. It will be fun and fulfilling. Show your kids or the little ones at home how to do it. Pick up the pencil or the brush that you have long kept aside and practice giving some creative strokes. Let your creative brain get satisfaction out of the little efforts and enjoy it.

  1. Build a stunning website and increase your efficiency

You may have coveted to build a website for your personal use or your part-time occupation for long but could not make out the time. Or, you can search for Youtube and find out methods to make a free website for you. Stunning website creation will take about a week. You will derive intense pleasure out of such engagements. This not only increases your productivity but also gives you an edge to prepare for the future.

  1. Do spring cleaning

Bored with the above option? Why do you not try being physically active and enhance your productivity? Do the spring cleaning of your house. Arrange the drawers, the closets, the dressers, and even your book-shelves, which you have not attended for long. These need some more exceptional arrangements now. Use the vacuum cleaner to get your rooms dust-free. Make that spick and span.

  1. Find old clothes to donate later

Many of you may have in your wardrobe old clothes unused for long. You may not incline to use it again. Do you know that it can save people’s lives? Gather these clothes and package them nicely and keep them aside. You can donate it when the lock-down is over.

  1. Indulge in cuisines to stay productive

Those who are good at culinary skills can try making healthy dishes and require minimum resources. As in spending money, so in cooking, avoid all kinds of flamboyance and be creative. Prepare some healthy dishes with your original thoughts and serve your family. If you are enthusiastic, you can upload the recipe and the pictures on Youtube and see how many people like or comment on your post. Your productivity skills will amaze others.

  1. Nourish the plants

Take care of those plants in your pots that look malnourished, and pay attention to pruning, cleaning, and water those. However, it would be best if you were careful while watering. Too much spilling of water on the pots may kill your plants from over-caring. Again check the internet on ways to produce saplings from old plants, how to do grafting etc. and enlarge your little garden if possible.

  1. Read good books for productivity enhancement

Those that have got home-works from office should make the eight to ten hours routine to finish the tasks on the stipulated time. Once done, you will again have some time to spend in the evening. Find out some good storybooks which give a positive message. If you do not have stalks of good books yet at home, this is the time you can nurture the habit of reading. It’s quite simple.
